I'm back...

Alright so I'm back again. In between my fencing camp and then going to Kimberly (which is a place, not a bomb-obsessed alchemist ^.^) this weekend, I have had no time what-so-ever. But I'll have the rest of this week to catch up on my friends-list *cringe* I don't even want to see how far behind I am...oh well.

Anyhoo

I bought more manga ^.^ Yay! I got Volumes 2 and 3 of Chrno Crusade and Vol 1 of DNAngel. I have to exchange the DNAngel vol tho, because there's like 20 pages missing right in the middle. Grrrrrrrr. I also bought a magazine, Anime Insider, which is totally cool! It tipped me off about an anime convention in Edmonton which I hope to attend ^.^ My parents won't drive me there though something about not being able to stand the three-hour car trip with me and my anime-obsessed friends *shrugs* So we would have to take the bus...and hope I don't get us kicked off ^.^ My friends are always saying I have no in-door voice... *sigh* But yeah, so if I do end up going to Animethon, I won't be around this weekend either ^.^;; At least I'm saying something in advance this time XD

At my fencing camp there was this guy called Kieran. And one day, when I hadn't had enough sleep as usual I called him Kira by accident XD I don't think he's a real otaku though, so he didn't notice *snicker* There were six of us and I was the only girl...but it was really fun! We played this came called King and Soldier or something where you get a military rank (from King to Soldier depending on how many people are playing) and you have to shoot baskets to try and advance your rank. I've been the Queen, General, Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Corporal and Soldier i.e. all the rankings we played with. Being the Soldier sucks ^.^ You have to run and get the ball when everyone else shoots. But it's fun to make fun of the soldier XD But anyhow, it was a really fun week.

Then in Kimberly, I lazed around the room with our dog while the rest of my family went golfing ^.^ I'm not a golf-person. I have my fencing, I don't need that crummy pseudo-sport. Then after that we all spent the rest of the day lounging at the pool. I have a spectactular sunburn. It's what I get for not going outside at all for most of the summer I suppose ^.^;; I love the Mariott, the resort we stay at, when we go to Kimberly though. They have a free breakfast buffet and I can have all the hot-chocolate and muffins I want ^.^

...Well, that's pretty much it. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me go to the anime-con, trying to write up my resume so I can apply to Great White (the store I buy my manga from ^.^), trying to figure out how to get on the website for the Kendo club in my area, studying for my driver's test or I should be ^.^;; and cleaning out my room so we can repaint and refurnish it. Wew. I also need to get writing again tho. I'm going to get rusty at this rate. And my f-list... *wince* Okay, I'll write a bit then see how clogged my f-list is ^.^
